Let's get THE SINGING COMPETITION right this time, America!!

Yeah... Jordin is gonna win... Okay, well, Melinda definitely deserved to be in the final with Jordin last night, but I hope that America didn't repeat the same mistake...
I hope Jordin wins... I'm sure that you wouldn't want to enjoy beatbox on radios!! You want some beatbox? Go to YouTube!! =)
And yeah.. As the judges reminded us so many times during the final performance night, it IS a singing competition! It's not just any kind of talent show, it's not a dancing competition, it's definitely not a performance competition... Overall performance does matter, but vocal talent would matter the most..! These idols will make records that will be played on radios...people are going to buy their CDs and play their songs in their car, while working out, etc.... You are going to LISTEN to them singing!! It's not JUST about jumping around the stage... =D You wouldn't see them jumping on the stage in your car, would you... You would HEAR them sing... So, yeah... It is a singing competition!!
Wooo.. Can't wait til tonight when the results are in... =) AI rocks... Hopefully America gets it right this time.. Go, Jordin!! =)

Jordin was able to shine all the way through during the final performances... And she earned her Idol crown for that.. =)

Melinda was so much better than the rest of the competition. Now that she is gone I think Jordin is the only choice. She is sweet and has a great voice. Last night when they sang that song that someone had written for the show it clearly showed where the talent lay. It was painful watching Blake slaughter it and Jordin moved me to tears with the song and I am not a crier! I sure hope America gets it together and votes for the one who can sing. I just wish other countries could vote too, maybe it would have kept the true talent in like Melinda.

Yeah!! Did you hear how many people voted last night??! 74 million!!! It's a world record!! I bet that many people finally stood up and voted... They didn't want to get it wrong again.. =)
It is hard, if not impossible, for other countries to vote because for most of us, we didn't get to see American Idol live...in most of the countries, the show was aired the next day... So, we really didn't have a chance to vote... But, yay... Jordin did win!!
I was promising myself not to watch American Idol ever again if Blake did.. =p~
