women using their children to play mind games

why do women who have children by men out of wedlock or before divorce play mind games with the men? i never understood why women think that , that's going to make the man come running back to you if you use their child against them. i think that is so stupid. also why do women belittle the child's father in front of them? my mother used to do that to me about my father, although she was right about him it was still not her place to say mean things about him to me because after all he is still my father. and my husband is going through the same thing but he is a good father to his son and my daughter , yet when his son starts to act up then she wants to call and ask him to disipline him ,but yet she try and keep his son from him, what's that about?

Are you implying that ALL women are this way? I sure hope not! Being a single mom is tough so sometimes your anger gets they best of you and you say things that you should NOT say. I think a father has rights and they have EVERY right to see there child. As long as they are not a threat to the child then it shouldn't be a problem. I don't think it's fair for a mother to use their child to play games or say mean things to the child about his father but not ALL women do this and every situation is different.

no i'm sorry i didn't mean to imply that i was referring to all women ,because i'm not and trust me my mom was a single mother and i saw how first hand it was hard for her . i was referring to the woman that are guilty of doing this and yes every situation is different but i still believe that we as women shouldn't influence our thoughts about the child's father on them it's just not right no matter what the situation is.
