Need help

umm...hello...m an engineering student myself....a suggestion...i suggest u ask ur little sister what she really wants to do...see no point pushing her into engineering if she's not interested...see i was pushed into it and i havent been able to cope up with it....m suffering from depression...so trust me its of no use if u push her into it...if she genuinly wants to do engg...then its a different thing...and besides the career trends are changing...these days a career in journalism or masscomm fetches u more income and respect than that of an engg...me being an engineering student...trust me i know the facts....the rest miss nisha is ur decision and more importantly ur sister's decision....all the best to her in her life's endeavours....

I'm in the same boat too sis. I got my 12th grade results last week. It depends on her technical abilities. If she likes computers, strong at math (especially calculus) then its best she goes for Engineering. If she is more research oriented and isn't too fond of Math, then BSc. However, there is a lot of difference on the pay scale considering BE and BSc so its better she takes up Engineering. I'm opting for engineering in electronics or telecom.
