Explain me the Difference b/w "Unresolved Discussions & Discussions i started"

Hi Guys,A very warm welcome to all ...
Can you please explain me clearly the difference between " My Unresolved discussions" option and " Discussions i have started".
I am not understanding about this because in both of these options when i click them i could find the discussions which i have started...Guys can you explain me clearly the difference between these two.

my unresolved discussions, is all the discussions that you've started that you haven't chosen a best response for. Once you choose a best response for your discussion it is considered "resolved" so then it will only show up under discussions i have started.

Hi dude,
You mean to say what all discussions i have started, if any of my discussion is not marked as best response then those discussions come under "Unresolved Discussions" am i right dude??

Vani - in the heading 'discussions I have started' you will find all the discussions started by you, since beginning till date.
However, in the heading 'My unresolved discussion', you will find those discussions, which you have not resolved. Resolving here means, discussions for which you have yet to choose a 'Best Response'.
So set a target time for selecting 'Best Response', I would suggest, and please do not keep any of your discussions pending or say unresolved. This will help you in increasing your rating.

My unresolved discussions are discussions you started and nobody replied to.
Discussions I've started ,are the ones you start and get a response for
