My results at the hospital

As most of you know I had a hospital appointment yesterday morning,
The consultant was lovely, he asked me all about my ailments and my history and when I explained I was a carer for 4 people and I was worried it was cancer and I wouldn't be able to look after them, he said I was an angel and there was already a place for me in heaven, the silent tears were running down my cheeks as I was so worked up by then .
I was in the hospital for almost 5 hours, the consultant couldn't find a lump IN the breast just a thickening of the skin about 6 inches by i inch and the skin is red all over which I can see and feel, The lady doing the mammogram could see it too, the radiographer said it was a funny one as he could feel and see the skin thickening but no lump either,I then went back up to see the surgeon, He was just so soft spoken and so caring, I broke down as I really wanted a straight answer and they couldn't give me one, the consultant said to trust him, he looked straight into my eyes and said " trust me there is no lump" .
I have to go back and do it all again in 2 weeks, At least I didn't get really bad news and as you know some do!!I wanted to thank all of you for thinking about me and all of my friends who prayed for me too, the power of prayer is a wonderful thing and so strong .
So thank God I know what I don't have, but still to find out what I do have xx

That's good news Weemam but it sounds as if you've been putting yourself through a wringer. I know you have some big responsibilities but you need time for yourself as well. Who will look after you, dearheart? Everything will be ok I'm sure, everyone you care for can do little things to help you out I'm sure, at least till you are well again. I hope you can find out what this thing is that you have. All the best. Thinking of you dear one and keeping you in my prayers. xxx

Well, it is not time to stop praying yet. We need to bring you more grace and assurance, so they can tell you more. I love it when the care providers are good, and soft spoken, and honest, and sincere. It makes you feel like they are going to take charge of all the burdens and carry you on. I am glad that they are saying there is no lump. Go have a good night, weemam, and hopefully you can get your straight answers in two weeks.

This is good news weemam!!
I remember when I went to hospital it is a very nervous time as I witnessed women being given bad news and crying. The nurses and consultants are very compassionate and really put you at ease.
They found a lump with me but when I went back it had shrunk so they discharged me, still not being able to tell me what it was. That was 5 years ago and I have been fine since.
I hope all will go well in 2 weeks time, just think if it was anything serious they wouldn't leave you for 2 weeks.
My thoughts are with you weemam xx

Oh, I am so glad there was no lump there hon. That consultant sounds like a wonderfully caring person, as do all the rest of the people you mentioned. It's so much more comforting to deal with people like that, than to deal with ones that have no "bedside manner" whatsoever. I will definitely continue my prayers for your health and well being hon. God is watching over you, and He won't let you down. Love and big hugs my friend.

Thank goodness for that hun, at least you know there is no lump. That must be a huge weight off your mind, so now you can breathe a little easier and let's hope you find out exactly what is the problem in a little while.

Oh my Weeman, I am so sorry to hear about this. You are in my prayers. I hope when you go back they tell you, that you are cancer free and it is just a thickening of the skin or something.
Please keep us posted on your progress.

I does seem odd at times, especially when it comes to as something complicated as health issues. You want a "yes" or "No" answer from the doctors, & they cannot give you one despite trying to find the answers. Instead of a yes or a no, it takes another turn & turns out "To Be Continued" instead.
Anyway, Let's hope that it's nothing bad.

Thank you for the update and so happy to hear there was no lump. I agree, from what little I know about you from mylot you are a true angel but I do love your butterfly picture. I bet you slept good last night knowing it was not cancer and no lump found. You will continue to be in my prayers. Please don't worry yourself sick over the red thickness.
