Buy a cheap and brandless player. Why play the brand if all music players do exactly the same thing?

well i could go buy a nameless brand but its nameless. there is no way for me to know if its even going to be worth getting. i don't know its durability, lifespan, and maybe not even its capacity. so i could go with your plan of trowing my money out and then needing to buy another one just as soon as i got it, or i could buy one of the two that i had asked about. but hey your entitled to your opinion so YOU can go waste your money on one of those nameless brands, while i save my money for something worth the work i did to earn that money.

I have an iPod Shuffle (old 1 GB model...about the same size as a packet of chewing gum) and I've been quite happy with it. You can get one these days for less than $100 US, and you can clip the new models to your clothing. If you want more music, you could always go for the nano or the regular size iPod.
