We may separate internet marketing from other forms of online businesses. Strictly internet marketing refers to selling products and services online as compared to other forms of online activities. I am not sure how far MLM will strictly fall under the realm of internet marketing.
If one has some good products to offer, then internet marketing is definitely the right way to do business. The only thing is that particular attention has to be given to promotion, payments, security, shipping, customer relations, returns. One should have a proper online store.
All these requirements are not needed in MLM.

I beg to differ with you. I believe MLM, slso, should have all those things, though someone else takes care of the shipping, payments, etc. I also feel that affiliate program owners who do not offer multi-level or multi-tier pay plans may be missing a good opportunity. I believe the Internet is a great place to put an MLM business to market the business. Thanks for the response.

Hi :
I think sometimes success in internet marketing is a matter of doing the routine things every day which have brought successes in the past.
Most internet marketers give up when they don't see results in days or weeks and would eagerly jump start to the next e-book or program which would promise quick riches.
I believe patience and perseverance are 2 qualities to succeed in internet marketing, what do you think?

Nicely said. Both qualities are necessary. There have been some very quick successes. Most of them are not so quick, but I believe success can be achieve much quicker online. The internet is a means for anyone with patience and perserverance to build himself or herself a business of some type at a fraction of the financial risk or cost.

Hi :
I think you are right.
I'm thinking of also networking with like-minded individuals in my community to get a quicker head start in grasping the important internet marketing skills. It's also a great opportunity to meet up with others for possible joint ventures or new business ideas.

the one holding the pen supposed to be the one really generating most of the income. i am not good in marketing and i don't do good in sales, too.
i don't like MLMing so much since i am not good in convincing people. i just hope i got the intellect of others who can easily make people join them.

I can't say that I am too busy to learn about internet marketing. In my case, I am too impatient and I lack persistence. What does MLM stand for anyways? I also don't understand the saying that you quoted. Would you care to spell it out for me?

I always wanted to start at the top, too, but realized after awhile that I would arrive quicker by slowing down and learning the vitals. One that I totally dislike is patience. Persistance is also mandatory. You'll get just as old whether you do this or not and it can be much more rewarding if you do.
Thank you for your thoughtful response. When I get one, I know I'm succeeding in possibly motivating and helping someone else.

You don't have to answer the MLM question. I went back and read one of your responses where you answered that already. As I mentioned, I'm impatient! lol I often type out my response before reading the others ones. I feel that if I read the other ones first, they might affect my response.

I'm sorry, yujrin.
The person 'holding the pen' is the person making the presentation. The leaders and the affiliate program owners are the people who make the money. Internet Marketers who can build sites or delegate someone to build sites usually make the most money.

Internet Marketing the key is build downline or referral, without them we are nothing or waste time. the hard things is build relationship with our referral, why? is depend our company legit and history and the system of earning are this people can trust and believe to spend time with this company or not.
i am join ONLINE marketing since 7 years a go, and i left them. but after i come back my ID and PASSWORD still active and what i get at my account last month after 5 years never active?
hundred of downline and still grow every day! i remember when i left this company i only have 10 people, but i never expected if my 10 dowline can grow;)
and my inbox i found many message ask me, and i start a lot things to do to fix my name and try to build relationship with them.
