If you're pro-life and opposed to abortion, how can you be for the war in Iraq?

murder is murder. the bible says "thou shalt not kill". period. so if abortion is murder, why is it okay for america to go to war?

I don't agree with either. The only thing is that the soldiers have chosen to do that. Obviously not chosen to go to war as such but when they signed up, they chose that. An unborn baby doesn't have that choice.

i don't think that the people who are killed by christian soldiers have much choice about it either.

No of course not, I was just about to come back here and say that! The soldiers know what they are getting into but, yes, civillians get hurt too and that's not their fault. Still, as I say, I neither agree with abortion nor war. There are far better solutions in either case.

I believe it is every individuals choice on whether to have an abortion, I would never have one myself but I dont believe that I have the right to not allow someone to make their own choice based on their feelings and beliefs. I for one, am opposed to war of any kind, however I believe your statement to be alittle narrowmided. It's like me asking because the bible says thou shalt not kill, why is it ok for terrorists to crash their planes into buildings, or why is it ok that my father was murdered by some random guy? Who said it was ok for America to go to war?

i see what you're saying, but to be blunt, it was a bunch of christians who said we should go to war. it was the american government. bush is supposed to be so religeous, and yet he lied to get us into war. my point is that if a person believes in jesus, how can they support a war effort?
