Did the movie 'Super-Size Me' by Morgan Spurlock change the way you view fast food. If you haven't seen the documentary it's definitely worth a look. It looks at the issues of obesity in America and the impact of fast food corporations on this huge health issue. For any of you that have seen this documentary... what are your thoughts???

First of all, I don't eat fast food as much as he did so I don't think there's a need for me to be worried. That documentary is just a study and I don't think any normal person would actually eat that much in such a short period of time (unless they're sick or something). Sure, fast food contributes to all sorts of complications which is why people need to balance their diet. It's all about discipline and self-control ^_^

I don't eat much fast food, but I was shocked how that guy did that for the movie, it was really interesting, it also made me gag a few times too. I do think it's a movie that people who like to eat lots of fast food should watch. I think it could be a real eye opener to some people.

Agreed... even eating fast food a couple of times a week will have an impact on your health. I was shocked at how much Morgan actually put his body through for the documentary... it was completely shocking that it effected him in such a huge way. And you have to think how many tradies out there have junk food for lunch every working day... and high school kids and lots of other groups that rely on the convenience of junk food.

I think they should show this movie to high school kids, so they realise what they might be doing to their bodies. I would say that most of them would know that a lot of fast food is not good for them, but watching the movie shows them more and will make it easier for them to understand.

No it didn't change the way I view fast food or the amout of timesw I go.I believe that you should eat whatever you want as long as you can and the only two reasons you are forced to change are either health or money. For about 20 years the "Food Police" have been scaring people into eating and not eating all these different types of food. I ignore them I am going to die, but I am lucky to be in the U.S.and I can afford to eat whatever I want, so if I want a hamburger, I am going to have one. I rather die well feed than live a long ,long time and not be able to eat what I want.
