I think the question is, what have you done to cause him to be possessive.

I think it's not good fo be possesive to our partner. We've to be more opening our minds. We can discuss many thing with our partner. That's a partner to be.

I think it is not so good to be possessive as too much possessiveness can kill a relationship.actually there should betrust between realations & too much possessiveness shows that there is someehere mistrust among you & your partner.every relationship requires a space & it is important to keep that in mind.

the truth is somewhere in the middle. it's not good to be possesive because he or she will feel that the relationship is something like a prison and will look forward to get out of it. but it sure isn't good to act as if you don't care because he or she will get the feeling that you don't care about the relationship and will want something better. the best thing is to give your partener freedom, but to make some rules... and let him or her know what you don't like him or her to do.
