Philippine politics is one of the most messy in the world? - whats your opinion here? From the lowest position to the most powerful person in the nation is full of controversy. If we are one of the young ones here, whats would be our future? What morality are we going to have? This topic is really needing a good reaction from you people of the philippines!... Just by it, you release whatever in your mind.

Whether it was dirty or not, I really don't care. But if you ask me, I'd rather not post any topic that would highlight the negative things in my country- be it travel, politics, or economy. I am relatively new here too, but I have been promoting the Philippines as an ideal tourist destination and a safe place to live in. It hurts me so much when other Filipinos would tend to announce or broadcast any thing negative about this country. I do not mean to insult you in any way. I am just telling you honestly what I feel. Enjoy myLot.

thank you for your comment. its just the reality that i saw. indeed, it is true that it is a tourist destination and that's one of the reality here in the philippines. a good nature to see. and the democracy that we enjoy. whether it is a negative or a positive side of our country it's a reality that will affect our daily life. and there's nothing we can do but to face it. you too, enjoy!

hello there. no, i dont think the philippines' election is one of the dirtiest elections ever made. it is the DIRTIEST election ever made. imagine, even before election has started, a lot of political killings had already transpired and a lot of vote buyings have been done! so shameful. :(

yeah...dirty and messy but I still believe some are still playing the cards clean...im just wondering why Loren Legarda is currently in the lead among the top 12 senatoriables...i did't vote for her nor my friends did...i really hate her...she's a loser since the last election...she couldn't accept that she loses against VP Noli De Castro...
anyways, NAMFREL's quickcount is still in Luzon area...I couldn't imagine if she will still be in the lead in Cebu...Cebu is a solid administration area but then the GO are celebrating because most of their senatoriables are in the top 12...

there are few who are good politician but that's how politics here affects us. even the voters are set on it. i stand in the middle of it. both of then have their own magic tricks on how they grab the position they desired. they will spend a lot of money for it and yet they will receive just a few amount in their wages as public servant. what they are after to? fame? prestige? or money of the tax payers?

I do agree with you that our politics is really dirty from lower level to higher level. But here in our town I could say that our elections were clean because our Mayor and Vice Mayor have win even before the elections because no one have run against them. I think in other areas like Maguindanao and Lanao del Norte as well as Batangas and Pampanga and Pangasinan the elections were controversial. There are also other areas that have managed to conduct a clean election but there are also other areas that managed to have controversial election. I think it could not be avoided because we are comprised of 7,107 island and we have different culture and traditions as well.

right... given the country like ours, it is natural because there's a lot of opportunities for them to take advantage of the weak government and the society with lack laws and motivation because of many traditions and culture. sometimes, we are also to blame because we tolerate it then blame the government to what ever happened to ourselves. funny but we voted those clowns
