As a teacher i think todays teachers are not best but i think parents are best. They are aware about the education of their children. They devote much time to the studies of their kids and as a consequence teacher will get support from the parents. In India the plight of Govt. schools is very miserable as far as primary schools are concerned.Govt. cheap and vote winning policies are responsible for that. There is corruption all around.Good teachers are suffering from many policies and from there irregular transfers. Thus here teachers are worst, they even have not the knowledge how to teach the first class kid?I am also government teacher so i am saying like this i have experienced this during the service of eight years. There is no quality of teachers as they are paid highly they have nothing.

ya.. but that's partially true.. there are many teachers who are trying to be lenient to the students. Also there are few other teachers who exhibit their ego and arrogance to their students thinking that they are the super powers and that the student cannot go against them.. poor students have to obey even those egoistic teachers due to the fear of getting expelled or getting blasting from him/her, infront of their classmates(friends and rivals)..

I do believe that teachers of the past is far more better than teachers of today because they are more experienced and well crafted in their chosen field. Just my opinion, what do you think?
