The bible allowed divorce once there is a marital unfaithfulness, but originally the bible did not permitted it. below are the references:
Malachi 2:16 "I hate divorce" says the Lord God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment,"says the Lord Almighty". So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith.
Originally divorce is not permitted but due to hardness of heart of the people it is then allowed.
Mathew 19:8 Jesus replied "Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning."
Mathew 19:9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for martial unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery.
That is the only ground i think the bible allow divorce once "marital unfaithfulness" occured. Hence, there is no references which allow remarriage.
