When I was a high schooler, one friend of mine tole me that the relationship between friends was to take adantage of one another. I felt shocked and angry to hear it. But gradually, from my life experience, I found what she said was true. If a person is of no use at all to others, no body would like to make friends with him. But still I feel it disgusting to say it in this way, friendship is for taking advantage of. What do you think?

Friendship is not to take advantage of each others at least from where I come from. Some countries do have this idea that people should always try to take advantage of another one even that means lying or cheating.
For me being friend is to be together, to have the sames tastes and shares things like a rock concert or a movie or a pizza :)
