Well freind, i think it is difficult to say on an average of all discussions. But now a days, i get an average of 10 responses for each discussion. Before i used to get an average of 5-6 responses and during the newbie stage, i used to get 2-3 responses on an average.

Yes, I agree that it depends on the subject matter. Some discussions get more than 20 responses and some get less than 5. So, the latter might have pulled down your average..

Im lucky to even get 4-9 responses, only two of my discussions had more than 30- i think its to do with the subject matter.

Is that so ?!?!?! All these days I thought that I had the least number of average responses ! I post only a few discussions and due to that, my average is quite high, I think ! Wow, 30 + responses is too good :). Hope you do well in the future !

it would really depend on the subject matter and your friends (i guess). i dont have that much friends in my list. average for me is 5. some have more responses than the other, and some dont have responses at all! lol.. but am okei with it..

I also sometimes get around 9 posts but for some it's just less than 5. I guess it just depends on the members' interests here or if they actually see the discussions we're posting. I don't know how some do it with really lots of responses. Their discussions must be really good to have attracted a lot of members to post.
