Good morning everyone, Hope you are feeling very little or no pain today!
I would like to discuss GLUCOSAMINE CHONDROITIN plus MSM Triple Strength.
Do you use this Vitamin?
Is it working for you?
I have found that since I have started taking this vitamin that my joints do not hurt as much. I know it isn't a cure all But it does help.
I find myself looking more and more toward natural ways of helping since I am not able to afford the pain meds that Dr's use nor will the Dr I have give me any!
have you found any Natural ways that you can share that will help?
Gentle Hugs for everyone today,

The problem with all these supplements and so-called cures is they cost so bloody much. And they are not covered by insurance. They have special fibromyalgia treatment packages, a bunch of different pills to take over a 30 day period and it costs about $40. Who can afford that? And if it really worked, wouldn't it be making headlines? All you can do is find something that HELPS you, not HEALS you. But you also have to make sure these supplements don't interfere with your prescription medications. That's why I have not tried some of these. A lot of these things should not be taken with anti-depressants and I'll be damned if I'm going to go off my anti-depressants to try something that may or may not work.
I'm glad you are finding some relief. I found relief with Mag-Citrate (Magnesium/Malic Acid) but still, nothing helps on days that are damp, humid or stressful. You just have to go with the flow sometimes.
Good luck.

We have gone from hot, humid weather to a now cooler atmosphere (back to jeans and long sleeves for me). This up and down is killing me. I am in so much pain I could barely get out of bed this morning. Well, actually, it's almost noon and I just got online to check my emails.

Good evening, the last time I heard from you. You commented that you thought all my replies to various discussions did not meet your approval, you seemed to imply that I had a bad attitude and did not seem to know anything. Let me, if I may, tell you something else you will certainly find fault with. There is no such thing as fibromylgia and there are no vitamins that will help it. It is a medical catch all phrase to placate patients when medical science has no real answers for mysterious aches and pains. Iwas told this by 5 doctors, 4 medical news letters and a variety of internet sites. I do not care if you believe me or not. I had what you would refer to as fibro and now I don't it comes and goes mostly goes. It is part of the human condition and something that can become more intense with age. Im sure you will sluff this off as a rant of a person who called a racer a racist as a twist of humor to a friend. They thought it was funny. I am sure you can search out a vitiman that you can take to help your humor index. I have a pill that will stop the onset of the mysterious fibro in two to three hours and keep it at bay for weeks and months. You keep right on buying the modern day version of snake oil and I will go my stupid annoying way feeling great. Have a huggy day.

I never said they did or did not meet my approval!
nor did I say you did not know anything! what I did say and still say is If you do not know anything about the discussion then why respond?
you may believe there is no such thing as FM and that is your right But I am sure there are a LOT of people who will disagree with you and yes I do disagree with you again! What is this pill that you take that stopped your FM? cause if it does stop the pain then I would be interested in it!

I would like you to know that this is my mother you are talking to and I know for a fact all the pain and suffering she goes threw with her fibro. I do have a couple of questions for you if fibro doesn't exist then how could you have it and how do you have a pill that will stop it if it doesn't exist. I also want you to go and check this website out because this is a whole section on fibro.

Do you have a problem with the english language, go back and slowly read what I said. I do not have any opinions on fibro, I Just told you what some doctors told me and what I read in some medical news letters. A close friend who is a pathologist his wife had what he called fibro, they had problems trying to treat it. After several years of experimenting they put her on antidepresants and that seemed to cure the problem. He, the doctor told me there was no one specific cause and the name fibro was used to cover variety of ailments that had similar symptoms with different origins. Knowing how to read is one thing, understanding what you read is what really matters. I really don't care who your mother is or if you even have one. You can take vitamins and drink snake oil till the world looks level, again I don't care. While your popping pills you might shop for some smart pills, then you would not have to ask strangers on a public website how to train your children. In case you haven't figured it out you both were extremely rude.

to all concerned, there is a soy protein powder based nutrient that will help and many times eradicate fibro by allowing your body to heal itself. 13% of the vitamins are absorbed because of the way they're produced. 96%+ of the powder based nutrients are absorbed immediately into the system as a balanced set of 72 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and herbs boosting your health to a level that will eradicate the invading condition. all this and its about $2.50 a day (taken twice daily). www.reliv.com

I have tried the glucosamine and did not notice any difference whatsoever. I took a whole (large) bottle of this stuff hoping. But I think that part of the problem is that since fibromyalgia doesn't actually hurt the joints this isn't going to fix anything that is wrong. However, I do think that if you have arthritis or other joint problems, glucosamine can be a good alternative to other medications. I have a friend who had a knee injury from a car accident, and swears by it. It just doesn't work for me.
