Ouch! What a drop!

I've had a 10 star rating here at MyLot for a long time. I logged on today to find it dropped to an 8. Wow! That's a big drop.
I try to post interesting topics and respond to as many discussions as I can. Although I haven't been responding as much lately because I've been dealing with my moms illness. I guess cutting back on a few responses for a couple days makes a huge difference in the star rating.

It is a problem with mylot and they said they are working on resolving the issue. Mine too dropped from a 10 to an 8.

Well I'm sure glad it's just not me. Dropping from a 10 to an 8 is a big drop.

I hate it when that happens! It is always a bit of a surprise. It looks like you have managed to work your way back up to your ten star though. Congratulations.

Same here, daycarepal.
I've just stopped myLotting for a couple of hours and, when I logged on again, I was shocked to find out that my 9 star rating dropped to a surprising 7, given that, like you, I have been very active in responding to discussions and I've been trying my best to think of quality discussions.
However, for what it's worth, I think that almost all, if not all, of us experienced the same frustrating thing.
My only hope is that the myLot administrators have a reasonable explanation for this disappointing phenomenon.

You aren't the only one that happens to. I had barely reached 100 posts and got my star. When I noticed it, it was a 3!
