Are we alone in the Universe or could there be life in other Galaxies?

One of the good old questions that keep coming up from time to time. Are we (everybody on Earth) alone in the Universe? Just curious to hear what ordinary people like myself think about it. So let's hear it!

Yes it would be a little bit foolish to think that in a universe where a lot of things happen by coincidence we - by coincidence - would be the only living creatures.

i cant believe that it would just be too strange,no way are we the only sentient beings in the universe, out there somewhere is others.maybe they are at the same level as us and are wondering if there is live out there?

Exactly my thought. The way the universe was formed seems to be based on a lot of coincidences and it would be too strange that the same things that happened as the Earth formed didn't happen elsewhere too.
