is dravid eligible to be captain of india?

no dout under the captaincy of dravid india has not been that successful... but this cannot discard his capabilities as a cricketer he is the great of this time...so i would take some time for him to settle as a captain.. though i think bcci should take an agressive step ahead and change the captain may be yuvraj....

he is a good leader but he wasnt backed fully by greg so it created a problem but i m sure he ll be indias monst successful captain

I feel the captain and coach is as good as the team they have. The aussies would have won the world cup even in ponting wasn't at helm though having good captain does help. Since good captains are those who players are able to do what the captain asks them to do or he looks silly. If bowler is given offside field and he bowls legside and is taken for runs captain can be made to look foolish. Even after world cup debacle I feel we should continue with dravid as though he owned the responsibility for it, whole team failed. I feel dravid is good thinker of game and can be effective captain. Besides if we want younger captain yuvraj or anyone else they have be groomed for the job.

As a player, i admire rahul dravid but when it comes to captaincy i don't think that he is capable of handling it. He does not have those killer instincts that a captain should have and lacks self-judgement and has failed in many aspects in the recent past and i feel that he should be stepped out of the captaincy.
