when you graduated high school did you keep in touch with all of the people you hung out with or did you guys drift apart? i didn't keep in touch because high school was hell for me and the only friends i had were guys and i'm a female so we just kinda went our seperate ways after graduation. the girls at my school caused too much drama and i don't do drama. lol!

I admit, I kept in touch with no one from high school. I have found my friends I have in adulthood are much better then the superficial ones I once had. Besides, I moved to a new high school for my senior year, so I really hardly had friends at my new school. It doesn't bother me though that I didn't keep in touch with my friends. I have 2 wonderful children and a wonderful husband that keep me happy. I don't really need too many friends any more, although I will not rid of the few I have.

that's how i fill . and that's all i need is my family and the few friends i made in adulthood because your values change as you get older and find people you have stuff in common with.

My 30th class reunion is coming up in a couple of months. I haven't been to a single class reunion since I graduated but I'm thinking of going to this one. I didn't stay in touch with a lot of my high school friends, just a few and they are still my friends. So many moved or got married and had kids and started new lives it was just impossible to keep in touch with everybody. I'm still not 100% sure I'm going to this reunion either, I'm kind of curious but then again there aren't all that many people I care to see after 30 yrs.

I graduated in 2001... it seems like so long ago, I mean, this summer I'll be 6 years out of high school. It was actually crazy, cause some of my friends moved away. I recently got in contact with some of my best friends in high school; two live in Texas while the other lives about two hours away from me. It was sad that we drifted apart, but it's awesome to see that they are all doing so well and have good lives of their own.
