Addams Family or The Munsters?

Okay, I know that these are older shows but I am sure that a lot of people still see reruns of them as I do and I am sure that a lot of us remember these shows. Which one do you like better - The Munsters or The Addams Family and why?
I think that I prefer The Munsters as the characters seem a little more normal to me than the ones on the Addams Family.

I enjoy both of these shows equally. I remember wishing they made a crossover episode of these shows. I often wonder what the characters of one show would think of the other characters lol.

That might actually be a good show. I think those are some of the best shows on tv right now.

I love both shows but I lean a little more towards the Munsters as my favorite. I think the characters are just so perfect for their roles. I can't imagine anyone else playing their parts. I finally got to buy the series on DVD this year, it felt like I'd waited forever to buy them. I bought the movies too. I also bought one season of the Addams family on DVD because I just didn't have the money for more. Someday I hope to get the rest. Oh and I did get the Addams Family movies on DVD too.

I didn't know that they had the series out on DVD now. I will have to check into that as I love that show. I don't care for the Addams Family movie as well as I thought that I would. I liked the series much better.

So does my youngest daughter as she watches the reruns of both of these. She thinks they are cool!!

(don't remember the rest, but when my step father married my mom, at the reception my sister and I mad a dedication to him, then they played this song !!!) LOL
I actually loved them both. I love Herman Munsters laugh !!

That is funny! I can't imagine that they played that at a wedding reception but I feel like anybody that would come into our family would feel the same way.

We asked the DJ if he had it and it took like 30 min for him to find it in his stuff the DJ said "This is dedicated to the groom, the brides daughters would like to welcome him to the family" and then you hear "da da da da *snap snap*" The whole place roared with laughter !! It was pretty funny.

I've not seen these TV shows in many years ,But I do remember loving them while growing up, getting out of school and rushing to turn them on.Choosing which is better;Don't know that that's possible .The concept was pretty much the same for both really.
Fred Munster and Uncle Fester made me laugh the most as I remember .And who could ever forget "The Thing" on the ADDAMs Family.
P.S. Carolscash thanks for bringing this up I'm laughing just thinking about it.

You are welcome! We watch reruns of these a lot in my house and I would sure hate to see them take them off the air. These are classic shows!! My kids love them too!
