Anyone taking Actos?

I have been taking Actos for about a year now and it controls my sugar beautifully. The only problem is that I'm afraid it may be affecting my liver. I've told my doctor about pain in my upper right quad and had to get an ultrasound. It turns out I have fatty liver disease. After researching this on the net, I've found out this seems to be common in diabetics. Is it life threatening? From what I've read it doesn't seem to be, but I'm not sure. Another thing is I have gained quite a bit of weight in the last 5 years without changing my eating habits. Is this common in diabetics? It's getting a little depressing because I am having a lot of aches and pains in the knees and back and I think it's due to me carrying too much weight. I don't want to go on a strict diet because I wouldn't stick with it anyway. Any thoughts?

One thing i want to tell u ask u r doctor can he cure his diseases if he says no and it will be a no .why dont u try any other alternative therapy.i have fed up people saying that i have got aches and pain,i will lose my leg and eyes when ever they have got diabetics.i have personally seen that diabetics is disease which can be cured easily .dotn go on a strict diet
make slight changes .
