Hey girls! Well I just looked at the LES and man it is so diferent then the last deployment. Now here is the question... it is always going to be a lot higher the first of the month and not so high at the end of the month? Ours was a $700 difference. Or is this the way it will be for the first month of the pay? THanks guys... I know I can count on you:)

Wow, that's quite a difference! Ours was higher at first and then went down about $200 and I'm not sure why, cause it seemed like it should've gone up. It looks like we're still not getting separation pay and he's been gone for over 2 months now, so I'm a little confused about ours too and not sure who to talk to about it. Anyway, sorry I can't really be of much help since I don't know what's going on either. lol $700 is really weird though, I can't imagine why there would be that big of a difference!

No question is stupid at finance. They get these type of questions all of the time. I know I have had to bug them many times about different issues. Don't ever feel that your questions are stupid. Who cares what they think. It is their job to take care of your questions and issues. Take care and I hope you get this straightened out quickly!

My suggestion is to go to finance and question it. They can give you a step by step reference as to why he is getting paid more at the first of the month and less at midmonth. My thought would be that since he just got over there, they are paying the backdated portion of when he arrived there and that is why it is so high. that is what happened to my husband the last time he was there. After a couple of months everything will level out. I would still go to finance and talk to someone because it will make it easier and less of a worry on you, and at least you will fully understand. Take care!
