Oops, this may sound being nosey, but I was reading something in the net about a person who nearly died in an accident and while in the hospital, he got flashback in his mind of what his life had been. I was thinking WHY DON'T I THINK OF THAT TODAY --what my life had been -- NOT waiting for the time when I will be in a hospital bed. My life had been like a roller-coaster ride, all the ups and downs, I was poor, then I got rich, then poor again, and who knows if I may be rich again in the future. But the excitement of my life came from the fact that God has AUTHORED my life to be such, that whatever happened to me is GOOD, no matter how it may seem then....WHAT ABOUT YOU? WHAT KIND OF LIFE DO YOU HAVE?

In short, i have a bit of a crazy life-grabbing any valuable opportunity by both hands, sometimes no matter what the risk,as i never know as it will arise again!past experiences have teached me not to expect things to go a certain way,so these days i tend to live life for the moment and savour every minute of it as anything can happen.I do believe in fate to some extent, in the sense that we have a predetermined destination but how we get there is shaped by the decisions that we make in life.I have a bad habit on dwelling on the past and what ifs,but our past is there to learn from isnt it?

How true, mightytuck, we learn a lot from our past actions and decisions! And I am also savoring every moment of my life (not only because I'm older but because I have learned that every minute is worthwhile and not to be wasted) It's not at all a bad habit to dwell on our past, so long as we don't do that with bitterness, but as you said to learn from the past. God bless your day!

hi friend, your question is rather thought provoking as it made me stop and think for a while...pause.
Life has not been easy for me and it will be such a long story but to make my point i live my life in a day to day basis i tend not wait for the future and hopes for the best because i have my children now and they are just my world. I can see the world in their eyes and i also get excited when they do get excited. Live life simply and honestly that is...so many things still will happen and i hope to live longer to see my children grow up and be good citizen to this country.

Yes isn't it always amazing to see our children growing up becoming adults themselves and having a life of their own. As we look at them, pictures of them when they were small keep flashing at the back of our minds and we smile and congratulate ourselves that we have gone this far in raising our kids. No matter if we did something wrong in the past, we just knew that as a parent, we hope to give them the best.
