I just went through your profile and found that you are frm china,I never had Dumplings and I never heard about it before. I am from India and my favorite dish is Hyderabadi Biryani. Its delicious and i can eat it anytime.
If you could let me know who to prepare Dumpling, I will see if i can make it.

Funny you ask since they'll be a staple this Memorial Day weekend! Here it is Spedies. I never knew it was a regional thing until I met people from outside the area that had never heard of them. For anyone that doesn't know spedies are small chunks of marinated meat, usually chicken but can be beef or pork too. Most people grill them but they can be done over a campfire also. They're just like the meat you would use for a kabob only we eat them plain or as a sandwich on Italian bread. We even have a huge annual Spedie Fest and Balloon Rally. It's a whole weekend of fun with vendors selling all kinds of spedies, special attractions/events, and hot air balloon rides and exhibitions.

Dumplings are tasty :). I guess here the favorite of people overall is probably either Belgian Fries or any form of Chinese food, just 2 things which pretty much everybody loves.
Although the Chinese food here is actually quite a lot of Indonesian food, but that's aside the point :P.

In America we do our own form of dumplings, But they're not dry on the outside. Ours are basically flour and seasoning and other good stuff, and I think they're boiled. That's how I do mine anyway. Never got any complaints, but you have to boil them in chicken stock, or they taste flat. Oh, and you add cooked chicken to your boiling dumplings so ti picks up the dumpling taste. Moms usually serve them with baked chicken, and such. It's a southern thing! I didn't invent it.
