Do you know of any one or do you your self have multiple birth babies. Do you have or someone you know has twins, triplets, or quads or more... If so how many and what ages? My mom has a set of twins and no I am not one of them to girls identical they are 20 now. Ashley and christy. I also have a friend who has quads. She has a set of identical twin girls and a set of identical twin boys (and yes all four were born at the same time) plus two other children boy does she have her hands full!!

yes, I know a few people that has had twins. Lets see my mom had 6 kids. Out of the six she only had one set of twin girls. Both my brothers have a set of twins, one of my sister has twin boys and the rest of us didn't have twins. Thos e who do have multiple births are blessed , but as you said definitely have their hands full.

I think I would be scared to try and have kids if I were in your family that is a lot of twins to have inside one family but they are so funny when they grow up!!

My mom's youngest brother and sister are twins. They are nothing alike.
I have a cousin on my dad's side, that has two sets of twins. Her oldest set was born in 2001, and her youngest set was born last year. She has a single little boy in between, too. All five of her kids are boys. She has her hands full, when she actually keeps all of them at the same time. A lot of times her dad has the older boys, though.
My husband was a twin, but my mother in law lost his twin when she was about 6 months along. Someone hit her in the stomach with something, and she almost lost my husband, too, but with staying on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy, she was able to have him fine. I think he was born around 35-36 weeks, so he wasn't as early as they were expecting.
Everyone keeps telling us that we have high chances of having twins, but I don't want them! One baby is enough work, I don't want to double the load! Maybe if my son is old enough to help, instead of still needing so much care himself, it would be okay, though.

yes, if you have them on both sides you have double the chance. I think I was almost five when my mom had my twin sisters so I was able to help out a good bit then. I thought I had two new dolls to feed.

in my family, there had been no multiple births at all. when i attended grade school, i had classmates who were exact look alikes and they were always together. that is how i learned about identical twins, they were boys. then, as i moved up to high school, i had a schoolmate whom they said to have a male twin. a teacher explained to me about fraternal twins. there is really so much magic about life. in understood these occurrences better when we took up biology in my third year in high school. as for your friend who has quads, i am beginning to wonder how she managed to take care of them all at the same time.

Well, She has has two older children who are 7 and 9 so they help out alot and her mom also moved in with the family to have another adult home to help. The hosiptal also gave her enough diapers, wipes, formula for a year and alot of other free things!!

I dont know anyone personally, but I have seen many shows on t.v. documenting the births of multiple babies. I give these parents much kudos for being able to handle that! I don't know if I could do it. I know they must be tired much of the time and their personal time is down to a minimum. It is hard!

We don't have a hitory of multiples in our family so it was a surprise my sister had twins. A boy and a girl. They are 8 now. I have 3 kids of my own and every first doctor visit when you get to hear the heartbeat also to check and see if there are more than one, I have anticipation and fear. I hope to someday have multiples, but freak out at the same time. I think those that do have multiples are blessed double. We are all still blessed to have one too.
