Hello guys! I am just wondering if we could tell the difference between a novel and a book? Are they the same or different from each other?

A book is any of a number of categories of writing, published in book form. They can include novels, non-fiction, reference books, atlasses, compilations of poems, short stories, etc. Novels are a specific type of writing, and are always fiction.
