How long did it took you to finally accept/overcome the death of a loved one?

It's been two months since my father died, still up to now i cry a lot easily. I missed him very much and not a day passed that i would not be thinking of him. I tried so hard to move on but even the littlest thing reminds me of him.

There is only acceptence to coming to losing a loved one especially a parent. I lost my father when i was 12 and i am now 27, it still hurts when i think of him of all that he has missed in my life and in my childrens, but because i have accepted that he can not be here with me physically and that he is in a good placee and can watch over me and my family it makes it easier to deal with the pain of not haveing him here. All i can offer is that it does get easier with time. Good Luck and take care.
