sustainability of our resources

Well crickethear, I went to school this week and I think I can contribute a few opinions. PLEASE let me know if I am wrong. I went to visit my granddaughter's classroom this week and they were discussing ways of sustaining our planet. The children were asked to give ideas. They decided that building should have solar power and rooftop gardens, there should be less transportation, more use of scooters and people should do more walking to get around. It seems as though our housing and transportation are having the biggest impact on global warming...did I get anything out of my granddaughter's 5th. grade class??? Take care, Very good discussion....
