mylot tags, are they necessary?

I'm fine! It's been a rough week. I had a Dr. visit and am having a med discontinued and starting to ween off of another. My request as I feel the two I am wanting to get off of are causing some of my weight and inflammation. I also got aother prescription refill for my Mobic to get back on it. It is a non-steroid anti-inflammatory. i have ben having vision problems that could be allergy or eyesight. Eye Dr. visit was good today, no vision change. it's just allergies.

I tag my post because when I first joined someone told me that it helps get points. I am not really sure that is true anymore. I do think that tags help put the discussion in other areas so more people can join in. Like you may think this discussion goes under mylot but other may think it belongs under tags. The discussion can now be found by searching under tags or under mylot. I have just gotten in the habit of tagging so I do it.

I add a tag if I make a new point or I can think of one that hasn't been done yet, I think it does improve your earnings and rank. I do sometimes skip tagging though if all the obvious tags are already there.

I only tag my own discussions. I really don't see a need to tag other people's discussions when I reply. I mean, they already tagged it. They say tagging helps people to find your discussions better, but I have no idea why we need to tag our responses. It's not like people can just search for responses and the tags you use go to the discussion anyway, not your individual response. I have seen some people add really nasty things to the tag areas.

Well I do tags for both discussions I start and for all responses, I even tag images. Tags help the search engines to find the discussions. So if someone does a search on tags this one would come up for example. It also helps for those discussions at the bottom of the page, the ones that have similar content. This helps get more posters to the discussions which is always good. I don't know if they directly help with earnings but I figure it can't hurt.

ya i feel they are necessary so as to disply your discussion in relevant intrest so that you can get more and more responses. if tagging is not done good enought you may not get a good no of response as it had happen to me in very begining when i was new to mylot i ue to put any thing in tags. but soon i come to know about the importance and purpose of tags.
You can boost your earning by giving proper tags also..happy mylotting

These tags bore me i can't deny it but I always give tags no matter to discussion to answer or when I upload photo. I think it's useful to give tags because in this way you sort the things and this site would be tidier :)
