Do lucky numbers really bring good luck?

Some people take it for granted that some lucky numbers can bring them good luck.For instance,the so-called lucky number"8" is widely used now because it is sounded like 'getting rick' in chinese and is believed to bring good fortune.
Do you belive it?I think we can have good luck depends on ourselves.If we work hard ,good luck will come to us.

to be frankly,I do not think so.it depends on yourself and the time and the fornute.it has nothing to do with the number.just my opinion!

I'm a rational and secular person, so I'm not superstitious. I didn't know that the number "8" is considered a lucky number. I don't believe it, and yet, I think it's very important, because it isn't a stupid superstition, but a piece of local culture. I agree with you, good luck depends on ourselves. Not always if we work hard, good luck will come to us, but it's a good idea working hard and hoping that the good lucl will smile to us.
