number of posts

when i gave response to a discussion the number of my post was 513,and when i started a new discussion then too my number of posts is 513 why is it so? do you have any idea about it,

I suppose you only get a point from your respond to other thread not the post you start.got it?

Oh, I can answer this. When you start a discussion, you need a responder to earn credit for that post. All it just takes is one. I have had this happen to me before and I never understood why. I asked someone and they told me this. Basically, the number next to your discussion has to be greater than zero. One responder earns you a post. Good luck!

Actually the number increases only when somebody responds to your discussion.at that time only the Number increases & your earning too.If there is no response than the number will not increase.

Maybe you started a forum or made a post and it was deleted. But this has happened to a lot of people on here, I usually don't pay attention to the number of posts I have.
