Can you make your kid smile right after his tantrum?

EVen if I get so irritated with my kids tantrum, I still get him smile and laugh just right after his tantrum. Kids are hard and easy to please. They know nothing how you feel when they tantrum. HOw about your kid/s?

my sons name is Eli and I alwyas play this game with him when he is upset where I look around the room in cupboards and drawers and under things, etc and say, "where's happy Eli? He has to be here somewhere." That always gets a little giggle and then he is usually happy again.
