I have earlier worked fulltime and had fultime paid. I could by and save this money. But i did not have the time for the family, and I was tired every day. Now I work parttime, I lost about 1 000 kr a month doing that....so I think and wonder, Is it realy worth working fulltime and do not have time for anything els just becouse get that little extra to make your life happyier.

It depends how you mange your time and work. Working full time doesn't mean you have to give no time for the family and working parttime giving your time to your family. It is worth to know how you can successfully make both work for your family and your work but not sacrificing both to decrease your happiness. Money is important to get our life going but family is most important for our emotional attachment.

Well, I have tryed to work fulltime, I work as a nurse for older people in a home. That´s means you work, days, evnings and weekends any day in the year. That gives no place for any free time for your self, for the family. I have now slower my work down to work parttime instead. The money is not worth it. It´s better to have the time, and good helth in the process. I was always tired, even if I do not have any sleepingproblems. Thanks for responding.

yes, money can make my life happier, it is so important when you have so little money . when you are poor, money means more things for you. but if you are rich , or you have some extra money or you don't have any money problem, too much money might could not bring happiness to you. I think you might have to have a good rest and spend more time on your family, as it seems you don't have a big money problem . then happiness is more important for you. good luck with you.

money isnt really the thing that makes us happier but the fact is we need money to make a good living..you have to divide your time for work and for money..if you think you earn enough for you then just be satisfied with that and lend some of your times to your love ones...

I don't think money can make a person's life happier in and of itself; but it can and usually does make things easier. If you're really struggling financially working less then maybe it'd be best to add extra work hours (maybe not full-time, but 3/4 time). Otherwise, if you're making ends meet and are able to spend more time with your family (making them - and you - happier) with part-time work, then sticking with part-time work would probably be your best bet. Good luck in your decision!
