do you trust people when you chating on internet?

lots of people chat on internet.many of them can become friends.but there are lots of cheats too.so,what is your opinion about this.

i try to take most things that are said with a pinch of salt, i always try to remember though that its a computer screen and sometimes it doesnt matter what they say (if they upset me or turn out not to be what we think they are). i think its harder though when it changes from internet chat to voice and cam chats, then you start to build up a proper friendship, you can see who they are what they sound like etc.
personally the only kind of chat things that i use is things like these sites

sorry for hearing that.
somebody want me to be a business parter with him.he want me to buy notebook computer for him.he said he would give me money after receive the computer.you know,we became known each other by chatting for only a month,what's more,we are in different country.hehe.i am afraid to be cheated.that is the reason i start this topic.
