Have you ever SWITCHED FIRMS before? Why or why not?

We lived in a society full of fierce competitions. I'm still a university student now. But I heard that many people around us had switched firms before, even more than once and some of them said they had their own reasons. Have you ever switched firms before? If yes, why? If no, just imagine at what conditions you'll choose to do that? I imagine that if there are enough space for me to exert my capability, I won't. What about you, mylotters? Share your ideas?
