I wonder if people just go on posting a fixed number of discussions/responses or are the number of discussions/responses based upon their mood for that day...
I usually do not count the number of posts i have daily...i just post discussions/responses until i get tired...
However i have seen many people posting a fixed number of discussions/responses daily irrespective of whether they are in a mood of posting or not.

Actually for me it depends on the type of discussions that are posted and on the mood also. If the discussions are of my type or are to my interest than i keep on responding to such type but if not than i just keep on switching from one topic to another and finally shut down my computer. Anyway these days i am also becoming very lazy as my number of posts or earning are becoming lesser. Its really frustrating that most of my discussions does not have responses. I don't know where all my friends have gone.

for me personally I start a discussion when I feel I have one that will strike up a discussion and get peope thinking. Granted I do have a few that are stupid ones but those I started when I first joined mylot and was just learning it. Now I put alot of thought into my discussions.

I dont fix the number of discussions, i post on mylot daily. It is based on time and my mood. It also depends on the topics that are discussed on the particular day.

I try to post like 50 a day, but it rarely happens =) Sometimes I get bored or I have too much to do around the house, or my kids won't let me get on the computer, and by the time they get to sleep I am too tired to post =)

No, I don't have a fixed target.
I do the same as you. :) I just post according to what my mood is like and whether I can say something about the topics that I see. So I might post only a few or many in a particular day. It varies all the time.

hello reachravi.
I will usually just post depending on my mood and what time I have to spare. Usually I am multitasking with something else that I am working on, when I post on myLot. Some days I will post up to 30 responses or more, and other days just 1 or 2, because I have been away from the computer or just too busy with other projects. I don't always have the same enthusiasm. I think it varies with my energy. Kindest regards.
:)

I really don't post a fixed number of discussions or responses. I like to set myself a goal each day but it is very hard to reach when we cannot find good discussions to respond to. I spend alot of time going through my emails from my friends and delete some of them and respond to the others. I do have a set amount of time online each day and I try to respond to as many discussions as I can. I always try to get in the mood but some days are very slow and sluggish.

it really depends on my mood and if im in the mood for posting and responding then i really can produce many..there are days that i really cannot think of a single topic and when im bored with mylot i just leave it and go back another day, now im motivated to post and reply topics because its the end of the month..i wanna earn more.LOL!

i set my goal for the day. i usually can respond to about 20 to 25 discussions a day and not more than that. there are certain times that i am not in the mood and could make replies up to 15 responses only. i did not post any topics lately because i can't think of any good ideas to start with. my mind just didn't work rightly. i became more active in answering discussions than posting topics for discussion.

I take down how many posts I made in a day but it's not fixed. There are days I only post 5 responses and there are some days I post more than 20, once even nearing a hundred. It totally depends on my mood. It's hard to force myself to respond more especially to start a discussion if I am totally not in the mood to share about my problems or whatever yet.

I don't have a set number of postings to make. I reply to the discussions that appeal to me and I start new ones about whatever I'm focusing on/thinking about. I'm still a new member of the mylot community and still learning my way here. What are the stars and what do they mean? How do you know where you stand in reference to stars?

The stars are your rating. I understand that when you reach a hundred posts that you get your star. I am new here myself.

For me, I dont usually care for the posts I made each of the day, its basically depends on my mood, when the time I feel to stay online at a day thats the time I really want to express more of my feelings on board especially at a times when I dont have someone to talk to. But as a computer internet savy, I usually visit the boards which I love and from that time it became my habit to stay on that board like this board for example. (not to exaggerate). It just I feel that I can interact with people here and able to adopt their personalities.

I just post as amny as I could. Sometimes I jsut post fo rthe heck of posting but there are times that I really want to post and just keep them coming until I ran out of ideas to post here on mylot. When I can feel the ideas seem to flow, I take the opportunity to grab that moment in my mylotting coz I could really make good posts when that time comes along.

I do it by mood. I post here until I feel like working on something else. ;) Call it warm-up for my freelance writing.
