Would you sell your life story?

I just saw an ad for one here at mylot, a woman is selling hers for $1000. Do you think anyone would buy your life story or read about your life? I don't think I have done anything out of the ordinary in my life, so I don't think I'd have much of a story to sell or to read about. I have a distant cousin that wrote a story about her life, she was a missionairy and has travelled all over the place.

I think I would sell it if the purpose is to inspire other people. More than the money, the feeling that one has inspired a lot from one's experience is more than what the money could buy...

I am planning to write my life story.. I never heard of selling it before.. (other than writing about it that is).

Don't say that your life is not interesting to others. I'm sure it is. Being a mom has so much to share to. If my life would be in a book or a movie, I'm sure they'll find it interesting for my life is very colorful. :-)

I haven't done anythign exciting either so I doubt anyone would want to read about me!! Maybe if my life got interesting I would sell my story =) But until then I wouldn't bother!!

Well, if you ask my best friend she would say yes, people would read about my life. Of course by my screen name you can tell what type of book it would be. I actually tried to write a book a few times, but never finished. Just when I think I'm done, it seems like it should be another book. So maybe one day there will be a series of books about me. My friend said that they'd probably turn it into a movie and put on Lifetime. I could start as early as when I was 12. My first idea for a book was going to be based on my diary. Believe it or not, I still have it. There's probably a book for every stage of my life. The teens, the 20's and 30's. Not to mention there could be a book based on every serious relationship I've had and my possibly one based on my relationship with my mother (now that would be a number one selling novel). And the book about me and my mother could actually have a follow up book based on my relationship with my oldest daughter, myself, and my mother. Oh, yeah, it'd be something. DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA

i think that you need to be very popular and should done something which is good and important for other then they would like to buy it. but if the people are buying life stories then i would also write and publish my life story but i don't think that people are interested in buying life stories of a normal person.

I am not sure if someone is going to but the womans story or not, but my life has been full of adventure. I think if she is selling hers, may be there is something interesting as well. If I had $1000 to spend then I might have bought it. Depends on how you are selling. People with good selling kills can sell craps for $500 too.
