It is not 'what you know' but 'who you know'!

I was not sure about this saying until the last couple of months. Now I have proved it to be true. I have a good education, work very hard and am polite but was still struggling alone on the internet trying to 'make my way'. 'Experts' said it was best to brand yourself. So I tried that. I contacted admins. in traffic exchanges and safelists and offered to help them. I now have free upgrades, free ads. and offers to join programs for free!
My profile website is still a 'work in progress'.

Be helpful and make friends and then they might help you out by joining your programs. I was lucky enough that people joined a traffic exchange for me and I won the referral competition.

Good headline and yes you are right. In the work force, this statement is pretty true. We always say that is NOT what you but is WHO you know that will make you success. If you are very smart and hardworking but you know NObody. You still be you. But if you good, but know SOMEbody. You will be SOMEbody. Got it.

That is brilliant and what a great response from everyone to your offers. It is often said that you get more by helping others and this is one example of how true this is. I am sure you will go from strength to strength on the Internet. Well done.
