Accused for stealing something?
I was... right now and i feel bad about it. My Aunt and I were close. She's like my 2nd mom and i love her. She left last wednesday and go back to Israel. Before she leave something bad happened. I was with her when she was packing up her things and we put her cellphone on her bag. I left the room and sat on the living room with my cousins. Few minutes before we live, her brand new phone was lost. We were all tense looking for the phone.
She never said personally that i was the one who stole it, but hearing her scream saying "she put my phone on my bag and handed it..." made me think that she was accusing me already. My mom even asked me if i knew or if i was involved with that, then i said no.
Until now i felt so bad, i didnt do anything bad and they never asked me what really happened or even expalin my side. What should I do?

If you dont have it then she obviously hasnt looked hard enough for it.
I have only been accused of stealing once and it was when i was about 10ish. I was in a shop and i was picking out sweets to buy. Then the next minute the owner of the shop came storming up to me and shouted " You just ate that didnt you!?" I said no becuase i hadnt eaten anything. Yet the man Insisted that he had me on video eating one of the sweets. I knew he couldnt have becuase I didnt eat one of the sweets. So he ranted on and eventually i just walked out of the shop and as i walked out he was shouting " You're banned from here". Still do this day (I'm 17 now) I think that the man was incredibly strange. I know for a fact i didnt do it, and i was on my own so it didnt even look like i was with a group of friends ready to be causing trouble :S

I have never had this kind of experience, but I can understand how you feel. First of all, I don't think it is your fault, but your aunt's. She is to blame. She needs to pack her stuff by herself so that she knows where she has placed it. You were just helping her, but got accused. It is unfair for you. I am sure that she will find it later and say sorry to you when she finds it herself. Anyway, it is a good lesson for you not to help those who don't appreciate your help but suspect you for the loss of it. I feel so bad for you. It is unfair. I hope the truth will come out soon to prove it is her fault.
