There has been quite a few Megaman related Franchises since it started out 20 years ago. From the classic Megaman Series all the way to currently Megaman Star Force and Megaman ZX.
Which of the following Franchises have you personally enjoyed the most out of all the games made for each of them?Megaman Classic
Megaman X
Megaman Zero
Megaman Battle Network
Megaman Legends
Megaman ZX
Only series not out yet in the US is Megaman Star Force so that's out of the question.
Mine, I would have to say it comes down to the Classic and X Series in the entire Megaman Franchise.

My favorite would have to be the Megaman Legends series. I love RPG's and this one satisfied that criterion. I love the music, and the graphics of the game. I also loved the story of the series.

The story wasn't bad at all. I just wish they would finish and get to Legends 3. I played Legends and at 1st, it was a bit different and something I wasn't used to but overtime it grew on to me and it was enjoyable. It kinda reminded me in some ways like a Zelda game or a Mario one that transitioned to 3D. Thanks for the response.

I agree. The ending of Megaman Legends 2 left me hanging on my seat! I really wish they'd make a third so we could see what happens to Megaman.

Well, I'm relatively new to Mega Man. I've never played Mega Man Battle Network or Mega Man ZX. I've played a little bit of Mega Man Zero 4 and I've also played Mega Man 64, which is part of the legends series. I've only played Mega Man X and a little bit of MegaMan X-2. Still haven't beaten Sigma in Mega Man X. The Classics have that old school charm to them. They're simple, (not in terms of difficulty, especially in Mega Man 1 and 2, but in terms of knowing what to do next.)fun and rewarding to beat. My vote goes to the classic. Although, I really like Mega Man 64, too.

I know what you mean. It's hard to pick a series. Battle Network wasn't bad, just wish they would have had more save slots like in your Zelda games or games like Super Mario World for example. I haven't played ZX at all, then again I don't have a DS. Thanks for responding.

For me the best megaman franchise are megaman zero 1-4 and megaman zx in terms of storyline and features, megaman x series is not quite because the story line is always revolves x and zero against sigma only while z and zx have diversions on the storyline which gives more twist and excitement to the game.

The "X Series" hands down. Megaman X & Zero (in later games) rocked. The different armors, the battles with Sigma. Truly some good action on SNES & PSOne & Ps2
