I was wondering if anyone can tell me where to find a free website creating site. I have tried freewebs, but it is not what I am looking for. I am looking for a site where my web address ends with .com, .org, .net ect. Can anyone tell me where to find a site such as this? Have you tried it personally? Is it a good site?

You can try bravenet. I've heard some good things about them. I would strongly recommend getting your own domain and hosting. It really doesnt cost much and your visitors will appreciate it much more. A domain name will run you about $8.00 a year (try godaddy) and you can get hosting anywhere from $0.00 up to $3.95 a month for a personal hosting account. Good luck to you.

I know three good examples of free web site.I used two of them and saw the third one since one of my friends used it before.I used ifastnet and 50webs.Especially 50webs is very good.My friends used host.sk.They give database(mysql) and php support. If you have a knowledge of php,you can make fantastis sites. They all have ftp's and own file transfer unit to easily upload your files.I don't remember the bandwidth and storage limit but I think they are not very low.Check it my recommended sites and let me know whether if you are satisfied.

If you want your site to end with .com, .org or anything similar to that, you need to buy your own domain. You would then have to pay for your domain name yearly in order to keep it. Then, once you have your .com or .org or .net domain, you need to get a place to host that domain. Some hosting companies, do provide free domain registration when you sign up with them. This means that once you want to host with them, they would give you the .com address free for you as long as you keep hosting that .com with them. For your information, your .com or .net address can be transferred to one hosting or another free of charge. They are also hosting sites that let you host your site for free but most of these sites do not allow you to use your own .com name. Recently, i found one free hosting site that does actually allow you to use your own domain name. You can follow the link to check out that site. http://www.my10gb.com/index.jsp
