I have 2 weeks to go before I am going back to work for on 8 hour day a week, why am I freaking out about this when I have been doing shorter days (3-6.5) hours in different jobs for the last couple of months, but the thought of leaving my daughter for the whole day is really stressing me out, my partner will look after her while I am at work and he is quite capable so I dont have a problem but I am getting quite anxious, did you go back to work when your baby was young or have you been able to stay at home with them full time?

i actually worked part time for my first two, then i had my third and i got a full time postion, i didn't want it so i had to quit. i got another job and realized i needed to stay home and raise my kids myself, so i did! my hubby found a better paying job so i didn't have to work.

I was fortunate enough to be able to staty at home with my children until the youngest was 9, however, you will feel anxious no matter what the situation. In my case, the anxiousness regarding leaving the child for the time frame I was at work was diminished due to the age of my children but the anxiousness of being out of the workforce for so long and the fear of not finding someone that would consider me an asset became a newer, bigger issue.

Yes, I did. My baby just 2 months old when I go back to my work. I really miss him so much the first few days of my work. I want to personally care for him especially when the nanny sometimes can't care for him good. But I have no choice but to work because we have no money for our family if I will not work.

Yeah, I start to stress out when I think about returning to work (My bubby is 16 months old), ... I'm not sure if it's seperation anxiety or guilt at leaving her when it's "my job" to look after her.. so I look forward to reading everyone's reply to this one =0)
