Not many people like poetry anymore. Nothing is wrong with a little happiness or a little expression. Alot of people love poetry only because is expresses alot about their personality.
I appreciate poetry because it releases pressure and restrains violence. It makes people feel loved if it's written for them, it's perfect for weddings, proposals, it's just very very pretty.
People need to get into more artistic things like poetry or even painting or drawing or singing, I just want to say, dont be afraid to prove yourself, dont be afriad to BE yourself.

I agree with you... It gives you things to do, and poetry can be violent, maybe not in pychical form. But in word form. Yes, you do express yourself that way as well. And alot of people just do not like poetry anymore, because alot of people, from studies have shown most people just do not like to read much anymore. Most artistic things now, have been just about extinct, due to the fact with new technology and everything. I am always myself.

I will never quit writing, it is my passion. Even if my fingers fall off from writing blister, I will write with my toes, and then with they fall off, I will write with my mouth. And I have always said, when your own writing, can make you cry or something make you laugh, and have great emotion from something that you worte yourself.... You know it is A fine piece of art that you have done.

Oh I've won alot of times on there! My best poem they said was Little Girl. I may be self conscious about my poems, but they come from the heart and the heart is the escence of life, right? Way to go!
