Have you or would you get in a hot air balloon?

I am also terrified of heights it is one of my biggest fears. I hate being in an airplane I am a nervous wreck if I fly. If I was ever offered a ride in a hot air balloon I might take it, because you got to think how often this opportunity may arise. It would be a cool story to tell your kids and other people about too. I love new things and trying new things so in that respect I may. But once the situation actually would happen Im sure it would be a different story, I'm sure I would be crying and shaking.

I too am terrified of heights and would have a really difficult time getting into a basket that is suspended by a giant balloon headed directly for the nearest power lines....LLAMA. I know it's something my wife has always wanted to do and if she really wanted me to go with her I would but would probably spend the entire time laying on the floor of the basket.

I never have and I am pretty sure I never will, they freak me out. I dont know why, well I guess I kind of know why, but it is hard to explain. I dont think I ever would.

A hot air balloon is something I have never got in, but I would love to. I once went up in a hellicopter and the views were stunning. It was one of those machines that you sat in like a glass bubble so you could see all around you, in included the view directly beneath your feet that rested on this steel bar. I think a hot air balloon would be even better because there is no engine noise, just the occasion sound of the flames being ignited. I don't mind heights, but I don't like going up ladders. In fact I had a ladder that would reach up to our house roof and just given it to my brother-in-law. I don't think I will be needing it again.. LOL

I would love to take a ride an a hot air balloon. I had the chance about 6 years ago but I didn't have the type of money they were charging for a ride. Every July, usually around the 4th, in Battle Creek, MI that have a huge air show that features tons of hot air balloons. It's really awesome to see and at night all the balloons blow back up and you get watch the grand "illumination" when all the balloons hit their gas at the same time. I would love to go up and watch it again.
