Has anyone played this game? I have it on the N64. It's actually not a bad game. It does require an expansion pak though. I wonder how come since the graphics look very similiar to that of Ocarina of Time.
The experiment was the 3 Day Cycle. While it can get annoying to have to turn the clock day, it does present the challenge of trying to complete as much as possible within a cycle. You have to plan properly.
If you do not turn the clock day after the 3rd Day, the moon will crash into Termina Field.
The main theme of the whole game is masks. You can change into a Deku at the beginning of the game.
Any thoughts on this game?

I had thsi game free when i bought my gamcude. It was a special promotion offer and I had Zelda 1,2,Ocarnina of time and Majoras mask on a disk for the Gamecube.
Its actually very good. It took me a long time to get used to but i sat for hours an hours collecting every single mask just so i could get the super mask thing at the end. It wasnt as good as ocarina of time but was still a vary good game.

I remember seeing that a few times in Gamestop. I got lucky and got it for N64. Is there any major difference in the Gamecube version of the game? Only thing I had to do was just get an expansion pak and that was it.
The best trick in the game is to slow down the clock especially when completing a task. That's what I did.
Of course sometimes if you're bored and have a long side quest, speeding the clock up a bit could do the trick as well. I guess it just depends on what you're looking to do.

Nah the gamcube version is exactly the same. Same graphics and everything it was just released to promote Wind Waker.
And yeah the slowing dow the clock trick was a good one I always used to do it before heading into any of the dungeons.

I agree. That trick is good and comes in handy. Not much of a difference I see.
I remember when they were promoting The Wind Waker (Another Zelda game I own).
Ever get to the final boss? I use the Fierce Diety Mask to make quick work and not mess around with him.
Or the 2nd Boss Dungeon, it's like you got Road Rage. Goron Link is the best way to get it done.

It's not a big deal. I found it easier for some reason to use an N64 controller. I hope this game gets on the Virtual Console because it belongs there honestly. I hope I'm not the only to think that it should be on there in the 1st place.

I think it's a pretty fun game that gets unfairly criticized by some people. Mainly, because of the sense of urgency, but there is songs you can learn to slow down time and go back to the first day. I thought the Goron race at the end of the game was harder than the last boss.

The Goron race had to be done and be right on the money. The last boss is real easy with the Fierce Diety Mask. The thing about the time is know what you're going to do before doing it. I found that you can complete a dungeon in a 3-day cycle and then once I was done with it, I just simply reset the time if need be. Slowing down the clock really makes it a lot easier. I have to say that this is underrated.

I thought it was a really good game. One of the best infact. The graphics were better than expected and i really liked the bosses and there rewards.

Yeah I know. Even though you had the three day cycle, it made it challenging and sometimes the greater the challenge, the greater the reward it is to win it. It's really not a difficult feat to go through and win. Just patience and the boss battles can be challenging especially the 1st time through and then after that, it just gets easier from that point forward.

ok ive beaten that game and let me tell you, its very easy but the 3-day cycle is very annoying. also you can not save without quiting but it is fairly fun. you loose all your stuff once you get to the moon because you can become the diety (awesome)
i would rank as one of the worst zelda games
ranks
1.ocarina of time
2.twilight princess
3.windwaker
4.majoras mask
5.minish cap
