potty training dog

I read once that a pup needs to be let out every 15 minutes. I did that with my new pup and never had very many messes in the house. Of course if the pup is sleeping don't wake it up to put it out but if it is getting close to the 30 minutes then make sure you catch it as soon as it wakes up because it will be very soon after it wakes up that it will piddle. Since it is not peeing for the 30 minutes you can probably wait for 25 before taking it out. Remember to praise it well for going outside.
