I received payment through my PayPal on 15th May and I was unable to accept the payment since PayPal suddenly asked for my US Bank Account. I am not from the US and therefore, I could not accept the payment. I contacted PayPal and they admitted that they are having a problem since they upgraded their system.
I contacted myLot and explained to them the situation and they were very helpful and willing to help by taking back the payment and pay me later when things are resolved.
Today, I wanted to return the payment and before that, I wanted to give it a last try and guess what? PayPal fixed the problem and now the payment form myLot is in my account, finally!
I would like to thank myLot for being understanding when members have encountered problems such as this. So far myLot support have been responding fast to my queries and I really appreciate that. Thank you myLot!
Have you encountered similar problems?

No, i have not encountered such problem. And mentioning about Mylot, they really indeed are becoming more and more member friendly and they are really rocking for sure. I am glad that you have been paid for your hard work in mylot without it being wasted. By the way how is your issue rectified without you being involved, did paypal self did this or through any other process?

Well done and I am sure that is a big relief for you. Up to now I have found Paypal to be OK but I know there can be problems sometimes. I once had my account frozen and had to verify all my details which took a while to do, they said it was EU rules as so much money was going through my account. Touch wood hopefully nothing like that will happen again.

Hello, shakeroo, good to hear that you hve received the payment, but why did paypal ask you for an US account? I am not in the US but i think it is fine if we get our local banks connect with our paypal account. It is also a good news for us as mylot admin have been so helpful in sorting out the problem of payment of the members.

I am from Malaysia and therefore, I can't link my local bank account to Paypal. I have to get a US bank account or worse come to worse I have to transfer the money to members form US or Australia and get them to send the cash to me... A bit of hassle but it is better than nothing. And yes, myLot staffs have been very helpful so far.

No, PayPal need your credit card for verification purposes only. They will not send the money to your credit card. If you are from those countries where you can receive money into your local bank account then you can supply PayPal with your account number.

PayPal has been a problem for a lot of people, but unfortunately it is the biggest method of online payment available and the most widely accepted. I hope they will fix things and upgrade soon to actually become world-wide. I can use them because I am originally from Canada, but it means my money has to go to a Canadian bank account which I have trouble accessing from here in Guatemala. I´m glad they sorted out your problem, though! That´s good to hear. Hopefully in the future we will see more solutions than problems.

First of congratulations on your payment shakerro. I'm happy that the problem got resolved. Mylot is very helpful when it comes to payments and I love being a member of such honest site. They always respond to questions but when it's in relation with payment they respond faster. I am expecting my first payment anywhere between the 10th and the 15th of June and I am looking forward to it. Good luck for your next earnings!

I am happy for you that mylot and paypal were able to work with you on this matter. I didn't relaize what someone from a different country then me had to go through to get their payouts. It is very interesting to find out. I have never had any problems with mylot or my paypal.

Yes, different countries have different terms and conditions. As for us, if we want cash, we need to supply a US bank account. These are normally due to the laws of each country. Hopefully, one day, PayPal would be able to accept our local bank or vice versa.

I have not encountered any problems like that at this point because I have not reached the point where I get a payout yet:) However, it is nice to know that Mylot is responsive to its members. I know on my account however it says that paypal is not available in my country. Well I am from Canada and do have a paypal account so I am not sure what that is all about.
cheers,
