The scope of rating in myLot.

Rating is part of our participation that we are paid for. It would be like working a job and not answering the phone or turning on the coffee machine. Activity involves attention to detail and so rating is one of those details. Good luck with this.

We are able to rate anything with the boxes beside it (like another member replied). I try and rate any member's contribution that was good, accurate (spelling) and appropriate. Sometimes I get carried away with reading or trying to remember what I want to say so forget. I think it is polite to do so and it does not take long. I ignore the ones that aren't very good but sometimes if they are totally inappropriate (like not replying to the question at all) I will give a negative mark.

yes it is in the my lot guidelines, that is how we get ratings by everything we rate.

I rate every discussion that I respond to and I also rate every person that responds to my discussions as well. I think that is what we are supposed to do. I have rated pictures also that are uploaded to my discussions. I don't think it is absolutely right or wrong to rate other members on other discussions unless we respond to them also, then rate them.

Hello,abroji,I think you are free to rate anything you want in mylot as long as you can see the positive,negative or report buttons beside the discussions or replies. For me,I will rate all the replies positive,i will not rate people negatively as i do not want to affect their rating. I may leave Yes/no answer unrated. Sometimes,when i am replying to other discussions,I may rate them positive if they are really good,same when I add comment to other replies. But I have not rated any pictures yet.

I do not rate responses in other people's discussions unless someone is responding to something I said in someone else's discussion. I have rated pictures but do not do that often.

I thought we only rated the discussions of others and the comments made to our discussions.

Usualy i rated most of the respond from my dicussion .I have never rated anyone else negetive eventhough i disagree with the respond.
