Hi, mylotters. I prefer sneakers most time because I think it's comfortable for me. I think sometimes women should wear high heels in some special occasions. Do you know what's the best occasion for women wearing high heels? Do you think they'll make women more beautiful? As a woman, will you often wear high heels and which occasions you'll choose to wear them? Share your opinions? Thank you in advance.

Hello, Luckywuyan. Sneakers can make us relaxed and comfortable. It depends on the occasion. Some occupations need us wear high heels while we are working. I'm pleased to know your ideas. Thank you very much. Wish you happy every day! ^_^

I think high heels are necessary for formal events such as important dinners or (ballroom style) dances, to go with a matching dress. From my mother's experiences, high heels are better to dance in as well. I wear high heels to any important 'dress formal' events, for example when I have to deliver a speech, perform in a formal music activity, go to a fancy dinner party, or participate in any formal event. For clubbing and parties, lower heeled boots are what I wear; unless it's a house party, in which case I just wear converse.

while i was still an office girl, i used to wear high heels all the time at work. also, on special formal occasions which i will be attending like anniversaries, formal birthday celebrations, grand weddings, and the like. but now, i usually wear flat shoes or ones that goes with an inch or two only. it is so uncomfortable to be in high heels already as i have added so much weight aside from having added so many years more to my age. these days it is acceptable for women to appear in special occasions on flat shoes and step ins.

heels - Women looks elegant when they wear heels
Hello, mexshyl,I think wearing high heels may make women look more elegant,I think the best occasion to wear heels is when you are having meeting with some important clients if you are working in the office, with the formal dressing you are wearing, you looks very profesional. I worn heels once last year in my friend's wedding party, honestly i do not like to wear heels as i will feel very tired after wearing for few hours. It is also not healthy for the foot.

on occasions such as these, women will really be compelled to wear high heels. it appears to be the most appropriate way to dress up for such very important occasiosns.

Hello, easy888. I agree with you. It can make women look more elegant while wearing high heels. Just like you said, it may make us tired easily and be bad for our feet. I'm really pleased to share your ideas. Thank you very much. Wish you happy all the time! :)

For me there's never a best occasion to wear high heels, especially not the really tall spikes...I wore high heels once, just once during a formal event in high school and threw them out..and vowed never to wear again, and I haven't...I primarily wear running shoes or sandals or other relatively flat shoes...I do however, have some pump type shoes that of course do have just a slight heel...and they do look just a bit "formal" for formal events without aggravating your feet--women don't realize the serious damage they do to their feet when they wear high heels....my mother suffered terribly with every kind of foot problem in her later years to the point of being nearly crippled...and all because she said she had worn high heels...So just a friendly warning about high heels

I almost don't wear high heels except for special occasions. I don't feel comfortable to wear high heels and I also prefer to wear sneakers. I wore my high heels in my weeding day, so I think this day is very special for me:)

There is no "best occasion" for women to wear high heels. There is never a good time for them. They throw a woman off balance, and they are as bad for her feet as a corset is for her body. And whoever heard of breaking a heel while wearing a flat shoe? LOL

Hi, danishcanadian. Yeah, if some women are not used to them, they'll be easily off balance. You are right. Hehe..., I never heard of breaking a heel while wearing flat ones. Thank for your reply. Have a happy day! :)

Hello mexshyl. I normally wear high heeled shoes when meeting with clients or having a little night out with my friends. It is also better for women to wear high heels on special occasion like wedding. I was so used to high heels and won't feel any strain on my legs. At other times like doing an errands or fetching my girls at school, I wear flat shoes only.

It's nice to wear high heels when attending a formal event like a wedding, theatre and things like that. I don't paticularly wear them anymore because I ruptured my archilles tendon a few years back (playing sports), so I prefer to wear flats or very low heels as its much more comfortable for me. I use to in my younger days though :)

I personally hate wearing high heels. They hurt my feet and are so uncomfortable. I only find myself wearing heels for attending weddings mostly. I'll also wear them if I'm going out somewhere fancy. Nowadays flats seem to be in, so you can still get dressed up and wear a really cute pair of flats. I'd prefer that anyday. Especially if I'm going to be doing any dancing.

Hi, fhunter910. To some exent, some people hate high heels because of that uncomfortable feeling. Attending weddings? Yeah, we'd better wear them. Like you said, in modern society, flats seem to be in and there are lots of cute pair of flats. We can choose them as we like. Thank you for your reply. Wish you happy at any time! :)
